Pakistan has taken bold steps to organize rallies in cites for solidarity with occupied Kashmir. All rallies are against India for violating the human rights in occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan observed yum –e-Istehsal on every 5th August against the day of exploitation of oppressed Kashmiri people. Since in inception of India and Pakistan, India has been inflicting atrocities on occupied Jammu and Kashmir. However, UNO and the international community made many attempts to resolve this old aged issue. Pakistan always favors the cause of Kashmiris.
The recent effort of Modi to change the demographics of the Muslim majority area is criticized at every international forum. Indian amendment in the constitution and an imposing curfew is considered as a foul attempt.
A Foul Attempt To Merge Occupied Kashmir into Indian Territory
India has made many attempts to merge occupied Kashmir into Indian territory. On 5th August 2019, the government of India revoked the special status of special autonomy to occupied Kashmir under article 370 of Indian constitution. India is trying to divide Kashmir into two unions.
On this, Pakistan, the UN and across the world have had a strong stance against rape of international law. Indian population also protested against this inhuman law passed on 5th August 2019 when India announced a complete lockdown in IHK. India sent thousands of additional troops to the IHK.
Kashmiri came out of their houses to protest against Indian decisions. This unlawful movement violated Simla agreement of 1972. Ironically, for years, India has made Kashmir the largest prison in the world. Hence, India can never be in a win-win situation.
Yum-e-Istehsal-black day across Pakistan
Foreign minister Qureshi said, Pakistan will observe Yum-e-Istehsal on 5th august in whole Pakistan to highlight the Indian atrocities in Kashmir. (5th August), Kashmir day was observed in every nook and corner of Pakistan. On this day, protests were launched to declare Indian occupation of Kashmir illegal; these protests also reject curfew imposed within occupied Kashmir; all these protests showed how India is exploiting Kashmiris for 73 years. PM Imran Khan made more than 120 meetings on Kashmir, the foreign minister said, it was not a small thing. On 5th August, one minute of silence was observed across the country to give a message of peace.
On 5th August, Kashmir solidarity march was held in Islamabad as well as in all provincial capitals of Pakistan. Imran khan also addressed, saying let Kashmiris know they are not alone. PM khan said, ceremony is not enough engagement; social media must highlight this prolonged unjustified dispute. The foreign minister requested Muslim Ummah unite together to fight for the oppressed Kashmiris on this black day. Henceforth, not only Pakistan but also Kashmir reject 5th august an illegal attempt to rob rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Indian reaction on new map of Pakistan
India has rejected new map of Pakistan, saying Pakistan has followed the same footsteps of Nepal that also unveiled a new map. New Delhi had already rejected Nepal’s such stand. India has reacted on new map of Pakistan in these words,
“In fact, this new effort only confirms reality of Pakistan’s obsession with territorial aggrandizement supported by cross border terrorism.’
The Indian reaction is just illogical and absurd. Indian already did this by including Gilgit, Baltistan and Azad Kashmir in their map. Even they started to give broadcasting on the weather forecast of Pakistani territories of Gilgit and Kashmir. So when Pakistan responded them then Indian reaction is very illogical.
